Portomundi wins FinTech category in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 2026

We're proud to share that Portomundi has won the FinTech category of Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 2026. We received the award at the Fast 50 Awards Ceremony in Belgium on 22 October 2026.
The Technology Fast 50 recognises the fastest-growing technology companies in Belgium. This year was the 13th edition, and for us it was a special evening: in 2021, we took part in the same competition as one of ten Rising Star finalists.
From Cinvio to Portomundi
Luc De Clerck and Kris Kerremans founded our company at the end of 2019, under the name Cinvio. The first idea was to make payments in logistics simpler. As we got to know the sector better, we saw where we could make the biggest difference: at the terminal gate, where terminals and transport companies meet every day.
That led to a clear choice: to focus entirely on container terminals. It meant deliberately leaving other logistics markets aside. We knew that was a risk, but we believed in what we could do for terminals.
Since 2024, that focus has paid off. As our platform became a better fit for how terminals work every day, more of them started using it.
What we're building
Portomundi helps terminals and transport companies keep traffic at the gate moving. Terminals can spread truck arrivals more evenly, reduce manual administration and offer their services digitally in one place. For transport companies, that means fewer manual steps and a smoother visit to the terminal. The platform connects to the systems a terminal already uses, so nothing has to be replaced.
We're also working on a loyalty feature that would let terminals reward transport companies, for example with free time slots, as a way to recognise the companies that help keep the port running smoothly.
Next step: ports outside Belgium
We started in the Port of Antwerp, which is still our home base. Today the platform is also live in Canada, and we're building relationships in Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Spain.
Terminals face similar challenges everywhere, but the way they work, and the way companies in a port cooperate, differs from country to country. What works well in Antwerp won't automatically work in another port, so we'll keep adapting to the way local partners do business. Our long-term goal is to have the platform running at terminals on every continent.
Thank you
We'd like to thank our team, the terminals and transport companies we work with every day, and our partners. This award is theirs as much as ours. Thank you also to Deloitte, and congratulations to the other winners and nominees!
